A REVOLUTIONARY NON-INVASIVE, ANTI-AGING TREATMENT
Plasma fibroblast therapy has been widely used for several years in Europe and is just beginning to be recognized in the states as a game-changer in the non-invasive, anti-aging treatment industry.
The treatment is performed by one of our trained Advanced Estheticians and uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin targeting fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are collagen and protein-producing cells in the dermis, the layer of skin just below your outermost skin layer.
A fibroblast is the most common type of cell found in connective tissue. Fibroblasts secrete collagen proteins that are used to maintain a structural framework for many tissues. They also play an important role in healing wounds as well as maintaining skin firmness and tightness.
The plasma tip doesn’t directly touch the skin, but instead releases a targeted current just above the skin. This anti-aging treatment is based on a series of minute dots adjacent to the tension lines on the skin. This process triggers an immediate tightening, lifting, and remodeling of the skin. This technique is used to stimulate the production of collagen in the skin. The hot current creates small holes, or micro-injuries, in the skin’s layer creating the following effects:
- breaks down proteins in the skin
- encourages tissue regeneration
- stimulates fibroblast activity
- causes tissue contraction (tightening)
Plasma fibroblast therapy is a non-invasive treatment that may be used to treat the following conditions:
- Eyebrow ptosis (droopy eyelids)
- Acne scars
- Loose skin
- Crows Feet
- Neck Lines
- Drooping Skin on face, neck, above knees and elbows
